ReplyDeleteI had to re-post to fix my errors!
ReplyDeleteThe "iCivics"looks interesting. I haven't played with it too much but am going to share it with my son who has an interest in those types of things. And, I've looked around the critical thinking site (so much info there!) and would absolutely love to find something to use with my students. I work with high school kids, and so many cannot think- they really just want to know what answer I would like them say, even with questions that ask what their own thoughts are! It can be frustrating, especially in a science class where the ability to question and carefully evaluate is essential. That's really what I want them to come away with at the end of my class; I know the factual knowledge will probably be out of their brains by the middle of summer, but the skill of critical thinking should be with them always, especially in a world with so much information (good & bad) at their fingertips!
